Projects in progress include extending the Silver Bend Hiking Trail north of Miniota, developing additional tourist attractions in this area, implementing a marketing strategy, establishing a fitness centre in Miniota and providing ongoing support to local businesses, organizations and entrepeneurs.

| Miniota Playground |
 Moms and Tots of Miniota, a group of 8 mothers, successful raised funds to construct a brand new playground. The play structures are suitable for all children up to age 12. The brand new play structure offers many oportunities for creative play. Congratulations to the Miniota Mom and Tots for their hard work and determination to see this project through for the children of the area. Special thanks to the RM of Miniota and the various government funders who supported this initiative.
