Projects in progress include extending the Silver Bend Hiking Trail north of Miniota, developing additional tourist attractions in this area, implementing a marketing strategy, establishing a fitness centre in Miniota and providing ongoing support to local businesses, organizations and entrepeneurs.

Robert Edmundson Chairperson – Beulah, MB Robert farms in the area. He enjoys reading and riding ATV’s. Robert wants to see the Miniota Archie municipalities remain strong and improve in the years to come. He hopes the area will grow and improve with new residents and new businesses. He feels the area has a lot to offer such as plenty of good water, low cost housing and its close proximity to bigger centers, heavy hydro lines and main highways. |

Tracy Lelond-Young Vice Chairperson- Miniota, MB (Picture to follow) Tracy is a pharmacist. She enjoys curling, local skit performing, piano, camping and golf. She is a dreamer and has many ideas on how to promote our rural areas. She would like to see more young families move to the area. She feels strongly about supporting local businesses. She feels our area can offer great people, lifestyle, affortable activities for kids, low taxes and good water. |

Ross Rowan – Miniota, MB Ross is a farmer and goat keeper; he also serves on the R.M. of Miniota council. He enjoys woodworking, fishing and observing the world. Ross hopes for a more stable economy for this area. He feels the area has much to offer new residents and business such as clean, wide-open spaces; beautiful landscape, decent roads and a community open to new ideas.
